Because long-form content generate more backlinks vs. the shorter ones.
And it’s not surprising really, is it? Long-form content are usually comprehensive in nature, covering a topic in-depth. They are more resourceful. So, more people are likely to link them.
Moreover, long-form content ranks higher on SERP. And when they do, they get more visibility and engagement. This high exposure further provides them greater opportunity to attract backlinks.
